Samuel Osei is an Opinions Editor, shaping the platform’s editorial voice through sharp analysis, long-form investigations, and diverse perspectives. 

Before joining the editorial team at Axis Signal, he was an investigative reporter and columnist, Samuel has spent fifteen years covering politics, social justice, and economic policy across West Africa and beyond.

His work has appeared in Foreign Policy, Al Jazeera, and The New York Times. Samuel is drawn to stories that challenge assumptions and explore uncomfortable truths - whether it’s corruption in public institutions or the unintended consequences of well-meaning policies.

He’s based in Kumasi, Ghana, and holds a master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University.
