Hull City have added Mohamed-Ali Cho to their squad, signing the 22-year-old forward from Nice on a five-year contract. The move makes Cho the club's 12th summer acquisition as Hull continue to reconstruct their squad following promotion back to the Premier League.
Cho arrives with a varied professional resume. He made 93 appearances for Nice across two-and-a-half seasons, scoring 12 goals and supplying 13 assists. Before that spell he featured 40 times for Real Sociedad between June 2022 and January 2024.
He also brings European competition experience, having played 13 times in the Europa League for Nice and appearing in the Champions League for Real Sociedad. Born in France and raised in England, Cho began his professional career with Angers at 16 and became the club's youngest goalscorer. At international youth level he represented England Under-16s before switching allegiance to France, where he has played for the Under-21s.
Cho's arrival is part of a wide recruitment push at the MKM Stadium. Since beating Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final Hull have spent more than £75m on new players, a campaign that included a club-record fee to sign Senegal defender Nobel Mendy. The investment follows a return to the top flight after nine years, which began with a first ever top-flight victory against Manchester United in the season opener.
The signing gives manager and selectors an additional attacking option with a mix of domestic and continental experience, and secures a young forward on a long-term contract. Cho will join a squad rebuilt for top-flight football as Hull integrate their summer signings and prepare for the demands of the Premier League.
