Le Court praised her team's support during the bike change, saying they were "amazing" in bringing her back to the bunch. She added, "They brought me back slowly but surely to the bunch, and I got back on top of the [second-to] last climb, which was a really big effort. Then I just tried to stay patient and recover from this big effort. I had to close the gap myself and I was really, really dead, I was on the limit. I can't believe I still had the legs to sprint." The Tour de France Femmes continues on Friday with stage seven, a 146.8km ride from La Voulte-sur-Rhone to the summit finish at Mont Ventoux in the French Alps.
The queen stage is expected to be a challenging one, with the summit finish at Mont Ventoux posing a significant test for the riders. Le Court's victory in stage six has set her up well for the remaining stages, and she will be looking to build on her success in the days to come.
