Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram advanced to the US Open men's doubles semi-finals after a straight-sets victory over Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, ending the defending champions' run. The reunited pair, who won at Flushing Meadows in 2021, 2022 and 2023 before splitting in 2024, closed out the match 6-4 6-4 and will meet Germany's Kevin Krawietz and Tim Putz, the 2024 runners-up, on Thursday.

They will play Americans Robin Montgomery and Ashlyn Krueger in Friday's final after that pair came from 8-2 down in the match tie-break to defeat second seeds Luisa Stefani and Gabriella Dabrowski 4-6 6-4 7-6, having saved three match points earlier in the match.
The draw now sets up two contrasting men's semi-finals, one featuring three-time US Open winners Salisbury and Ram against last year's runners-up, the other pitting grass-court champions Patten and Heliovaara against a hungry Skupski and Harrison pairing. On the women's side, Siniakova and Townsend will have a chance to complete the set of Grand Slam titles together when they meet Montgomery and Krueger in the final.
