The UEFA Champions League has confirmed a packed final night for the 2026/27 league phase, with all 18 Matchday 8 fixtures scheduled to kick off simultaneously on Wednesday, January 27, 2027.
UEFA lists every game for a 21:00 CET start, putting all 36 clubs in action at the same time as the league-phase standings are settled.
Barcelona host Como, Bayern München face Real Betis and Borussia Dortmund meet AEK Athens. Paris Saint-Germain take on Galatasaray, with Atlético de Madrid facing Fenerbahçe.

The simultaneous kick-offs are particularly significant under the Champions League’s 36-team league format. Each club plays eight matches, with all teams ranked together in a single table.
The top eight teams at the end of the league phase qualify directly for the round of 16. Clubs finishing ninth through 24th enter the knockout phase play-offs, while those placed 25th to 36th are eliminated from the competition.
The 2026/27 league phase begins on September 8 and runs through to the 18-game finale on January 27.
