The game settled early. Fermin Lopez threaded a pass into the box inside six minutes and Lamine Yamal took advantage, lifting a precise finish over goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski from a tight angle to open the scoring. Barcelona’s pressure created chance after chance. Rodri met a header that hit the crossbar before Pedri finished a move on 79 minutes to make it 4-0. Managerial rotation produced a new cameo, with Gabriel Jesus introduced from the bench after completing his move from Arsenal. Yamal completed the scoring with a close-range sweep to take Barcelona’s La Liga tally to 17 goals in four matches.
The result leaves Barcelona top with 12 points from four games, three clear of Real Madrid, while Valencia remain on a single point after four outings. The win reinforced Barcelona’s depth and attacking cohesion, and underlined Valencia’s early-season struggles.
