Pixel 11 Price Hikes And RAM Cuts Threaten Buyers Ahead Of August 12th Event

A new Android Headlines leak says the Pixel 11 line will cost more and shave RAM, with the base model jumping to $899 and 256GB.

Buyers could pay more and get less memory across the Pixel 11 family, according to a fresh Android Headlines leak highlighted by The Verge. The report, published as Google prepares an August 12th event, claims a $100 increase for the standard Pixel 11, putting its starting price at $899 while upgrading the base storage to 256GB from 128GB.

The leak says every Pixel 11 model will run on Google's next chips, the Tensor G6 and the Titan M3. But the tradeoffs extend to system memory. Android Headlines reportedly shows the base Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL dropping to 12GB of RAM, alongside higher retail tags of $1,099 and $1,299. The foldable model, renamed here as the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is listed with the same 12GB floor and a new starting price of $1,899.

Camera hardware appears mixed. The standard Pixel 11 is said to forgo a telephoto lens and adopt a dual rear camera layout, while the Pro phones apparently retain the Pixel 10 generation camera arrangement. Display specifications look largely unchanged from the previous generation, according to the same leak.

The Verge's writeup notes these details line up with earlier rumors ahead of the August 12th announcement. Android Headlines is the only named source for the specs and pricing in the report, so final confirmation will depend on Google's event disclosures. If accurate, the changes shift value toward higher base storage at the cost of RAM in Pro variants, and they raise the upfront cost for shoppers across the lineup.

What comes next is straightforward, the leak will be either validated or overturned when Google unveils the Pixel 11 family at its August 12th event.
