American Horror Story stakes its biggest reunion yet, bringing back franchise stalwarts and setting a clear broadcast calendar. FX has scheduled AHS: 13 to premiere Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on FX and Hulu, with a 13 half-hour episode run that begins with triple-episode drops in each of the first two weeks and finishes with the final episode on Oct. 29.

The 13th installment reunites a long list of series regulars across multiple past seasons. Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman and others are confirmed to return, many reprising characters from entries such as Murder House, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Apocalypse and Double Feature. Producers have released first looks showing some actors back in costume, including Lange as Constance Langdon, Paulson as Cordelia Goode, and Roberts as Madison Montgomery.

FX provided an official logline that frames the season as a celebration of the series, noting the anthology has been streamed more than 700 million hours worldwide. The network describes AHS: 13 as an installment that threads together legacy elements from earlier seasons while promising new terrors. Ryan Murphy, who created the show with Brad Falchuk and serves as an executive producer, called the season "a thank you to the fans for continuing to watch." He also pointed to set decoration and wardrobe callbacks, saying, "We also had a lot of the original costumes still in storage that we got to use," and adding that there are Easter eggs for attentive viewers.

Murphy has further suggested the season will blend multiple season mythologies rather than feeling like a single previously established installment. Speaking about the cast and roles, he told Entertainment Tonight the project assembles many characters together, likening it to an Avengers-style convergence and noting Paulson, Lange and Peters will portray multiple roles.

AHS: 13 is produced by 20th Television and executive produced by Murphy, Falchuk and a broader producing team. The release pattern, condensed into just over a month, concentrates the story and creates an early binge window with staggered weekly drops thereafter. Viewers can expect callbacks to earlier costumes and set pieces, returning actors in familiar parts, and a tightly scheduled airing plan that culminates on Oct. 29.
