Peacock has assembled a celebrity-packed cast for The Traitors and set the return of its next celebrity season for 2027, after the series was renewed for three additional seasons. The streamer’s announcement positions the show to carry its momentum forward with a line-up that mixes stage, sports, reality and scripted names.
Headliners include Kristin Chenoweth, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, former NFL player Rashad Jennings and performer Whitney Leavitt. The roster also features entertainer Cody Simpson, drag star Bianca Del Rio, actress Casey Wilson and Lord of the Rings actor Dominic Monaghan, alongside reality stalwarts such as Cynthia Bailey, Craig Conover, Gizelle Bryant and Taylor Hale. Comedian and presenter Iain Stirling, Love Island voices and contestants, Big Brother alumni and crossover reality figures round out the field of 23 competitors.
The Traitors adapts a Dutch format in which all participants begin as Faithfuls and the host, Cumming, designates a small group, typically three, to act as Traitors. Those Traitors covertly eliminate a Faithful player each night while the remaining contestants try to identify and banish the saboteurs. Studio Lambert produces the series, which intentionally draws from other reality and media personalities for its casting.
The celebrity season is officially the show’s sixth, following a civilian edition titled The Traitors: New Blood that is counted as the fifth season. Peacock’s three-season renewal after the upcoming celebrity edition takes the franchise’s expected run to at least nine seasons. The streamer did not release episode dates or additional scheduling details beyond the 2027 window.
Producers and Peacock have indicated the series will continue to lean on cross-genre names to broaden appeal, and the announced line-up underscores that strategy by pairing Broadway and film actors with athletes and reality veterans.
