The limited or anthology field lists All Her Fault, The Beast In Me, Beef and DTF St Louis Love Story: John F Kennedy Jr & Carolyn Bessette among its nominees.
Nominees in the leading drama actor and actress categories feature Sterling K. Brown, Gary Oldman, Mark Ruffalo, Rufus Sewell and Noah Wyle for lead actor, and Carrie Coon, Chase Infiniti, Keri Russell, Rhea Seehorn and Zendaya for lead actress. The comedy lead actor list includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Steve Carell, Matthew Rhys, Jason Segel and Martin Short, while Quinta Brunson, Ayo Edebiri, Elle Fanning and Lisa Kudrow were among those named for lead actress in a comedy.
Several top awards were announced as the nominations were published. Jean Smart won lead actress in a comedy series for Hacks. Matthew Rhys took the lead actor prize in the limited or anthology category for The Beast In Me. Allison Janney was named supporting actress in a drama series for The Diplomat, and Kate O'Flynn won supporting actress in a comedy series for Widow's Bay.
