The Story in Pictures
The Exclusive Manufaktur Paint to Sample programme increases the SUV’s exterior choices to 105 colours. Inside, Porsche has widened trim choices with an Extended Interior Style package that covers additional surfaces in leather and uses Delgada Green contrast stitching to finish the look.
The new electrically operated doors can be activated in multiple ways: by pulling a door handle from inside or outside, by pressing a button on the key fob, or via the vehicle’s curved centre touchscreen. The system will also close any open doors without manual intervention after the occupant buckles up and depresses the brake pedal.
Porsche has also updated the Cayenne’s comfort features. The available front seats retain five massage motions with adjustable intensity, and a new 4-D audio function links the seat’s six sound actuators to the vehicle audio. That seat-based audio effect can operate independently of the massage function.
Porsche says customers can build and order the 2027 Cayenne Electric now, with first deliveries expected early next year. Pricing for the range carries over from the previous model year, with the base Cayenne Electric starting at $111,350, the Cayenne S at $128,650, and the Turbo at $165,350. Each trim can be converted to the coupe body style for between $4,800 and $5,000, depending on the level selected.
The changes extend Porsche’s strategy of letting customers specify more bespoke touches at order. For potential buyers, that means a larger palette of factory paint choices, additional leather and trim treatments, the convenience of hands-free door operation, and an enhanced in-cabin sensory option tied to the audio system.
